There are a number of ways you can support USPG. Whether you choose to set up a regular gift or run a coffee morning your support will be making a difference to communities around the world.
Like in rural Malawi where over half of girls do not stay at school or graduate. The Community Integrated Intervention Programme (supported by USPG) was set up to address this issue. The programme looked at why girls might be dropping out of school and found that inadequate toilets, dormitories and classrooms were impacting girls ability to stay in school. So, the project set about building toilets, dormitories and classrooms. Amazingly the ten schools in the project have seen the girls dropout rate reduce from 52% to 19%.
