USPG’s 2023 Rethinking Mission Conference will explore the broad theme of ‘Mission as Solidarity’ – focusing on how to think of mission in terms of solidarity in a world of racial, economic, gender and ecological injustice.
There will be an opportunity to reflect on a range of questions, including the following:
- What does it mean theologically to think of mission in terms of solidarity in post-colonial mission contexts?
- What type of solidarity will lead to justice and healing in our world today?
- How can this paradigm of ‘Mission as Solidarity’ help Christians in the UK to think of global mission in ways that offer healthy and honest engagement with the legacies of history?
