Looking back at USPG conference 2017

Delegates from across Britain and Ireland came to hear about the work of Anglican Churches around the world at our annual conference (17-19 July 2017).

If you weren't there - or were there and want to listen again - here are the main addresses by our keynote speakers.

The Revd Dr Carlton Turner, of Church in the Province of the West Indies (CPWI), explored how we might grow the church:

The Rt Revd David Hamid, Suffragan Bishop for the Diocese in Europe, spoke on the theme of responding to crises.

The Revd Canon Grace Kaiso, General Secretary of the Council of Anglican Provinces of Africa (CAPA), looked at how the church is working with communities to enable livelihoods.

Jo Musker-Sherwood, of Hope for the Future, discussed how the church can engage with the issue of climate justice. Recording to follow.

The Rt Revd John Wilme, Bishop of Tongoo in Myanmar, spoke about protecting health. Recording to follow.

The Rt Revd Margaret Vertue
, of the Diocese of False Bay in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa, leads a bible study.

Janette O'Neill, USPG General Secretary, delivers a farewell sermon at the closing eucharist.
