Advent - When God is a Child

A new worship resource for celebrating the birth of Jesus

This worship resource is based upon Brian Wren and Joan Collier Fogg’s evocative song celebrating the birth of Jesus – the Christmas child who brings hope, peace, joy and love.

It has been written by Clare Amos, Director of Theological Studies for the Anglican Communion and USPG’s Theological Consultant.

'When God is a Child' can be used to accompany your church's lighting of the Advent candles. Alternatively, you can combine all the elements of the resource to produce one Advent service.
