Target: £28,020/€37,360 | Project 124

Providing vital healthcare for impoverished communities in Liuli

Tanzania is one of the world’s poorest and least developed countries – with half the population living below the World Bank’s poverty line. This poverty is the chief reason for the country’s low health status: malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis are widespread, and the
average life expectancy is just 46 years.

The Church in Tanzania is responding to this great need by working with
communities, providing primary healthcare and health education.

In their own words:

"I can’t believe that I’m cured! Thank you and God bless you for caring for me!" - Maluta, a mother-of-three treated for TB
