About USPG

Inspire your congregation by inviting a USPG Speaker to visit your church.

USPG: Anglicans in World Mission exists to support the churches of the Anglican Communion as they engage in God’s holistic mission.

We are a major Anglican mission agency focussed on sustaining relationships between churches and supporting our partners in growing the church’s capacity for mission, particularly through leadership development and health work.

We work in partnership with Anglican Churches in over 50 countries, funding programmes in 12 provinces of Africa and Asia, and relating to many others including those in Latin America and the Caribbean.

In all of our work, we don't dictate what priorities our partner churches must follow. Instead, we encourage shared decision-making among equal partners. Furthermore, where grants are provided, they are given on a long-term basis so that churches have a secure financial base from which to plan for the future.

USPG stands for the United Society for the Propagation of the Gospel. You can find out about the origins of our name in the history section.
